Rounding it out as a person:
Kate is an auntie, sister, cycle-breaker, and is grateful to be retired from the Marketing world. When not at work, you will find Kate: gardening, wandering at museums, attending drag shows, cross country skiing, trying on new hobbies, and appreciating vinyl records.
As a therapist:
Kate’s work can be described as collaborative, experiential, and relational. Kate’s work borrows explicitly from somatic, systemic, and post-modern approaches, plus a dash of Mindfulness because—well—to her surprise, it worked for her. Kate practices through a trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+-affirming, and anti-oppressive lens. Kate firmly believes that community, nature, and self-compassion are essential for healing and growth.
Kate is currently pursuing a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at St. Mary’s University, Twin Cities and is practicing under the supervision of Tessa Gittleman, MA, LMFT-S (MN #3573). Kate’s secondary site, Soul Centered Therapy (Golden Valley, MN) is allowing Kate to focus on Ketamine and Psychedelic Assisted Therapy under the supervision of Nikki Casey, MA, LMFT-S. Kate will work at both sites from September, 2026, until graduation in August, 2027, after which point, clients will be able to follow Kate into the next chapter!

“You don't have the same mentality as you did five years ago - even one year. People are always changing, and I believe that everyone deserves the space to change.”
